Most Popular Cruise Ship of 2016
It’s the end of March and the air smells like “competition.” But, let’s not let college basketball fans have all of the fun. We want to find the Best Cruise Ship of 2016.
Cruise lines are constantly competing for your dollars. They stuff your mailboxes full of fliers, follow you around the internet with banner ads, and they interrupt your regularly scheduled TV viewing to show some girl swimming with smiling dolphins. Let’s show them how well they’re doing.
In the spirit of March Madness, we’ve set up a bracket with 32 cruise ships. These are some of the newest ships to hit the market. Some aren’t even out yet, but that hasn’t stopped the cruise lines from building up their hype and getting us all excited. We’ve randomly paired these up in the chart seen below.
Your job is simple. Look at each cruise ship pair and select the ship you’d like to sail more. For example, your first matchup is two newly constructed ships, the MSC Seaside and the Silversea Silver Muse. Click whichever you’re more excited about. Some ships you may have never heard of. If that’s the case, feel free to pick the one who’s cruise line you prefer. Or, choose by which name you like better. Heck, pick the one withe sexier captain… we don’t care how you choose your favorite, as long as you’re participating!
ROUND 1 RESULTS
We received hundreds of votes, and here are the winners of Round One of our March Madness Cruise Ship contest.
You can see a summary of the results in the larger, brackets image above. For the individualized results, here’s a bit more detail!
The competition is now down to 16 teams!
Round 2 – Sweet Sixteen
Once this round is done, the 16 teams will be down to 8. We’ll then do another round of voting with all new matchups. We’ll do this for four rounds until we have our Best Cruise Ship of 2016!
2016 Best Cruise Ship – Sweet 16
Thanks for participating!
We’ll tally up all votes by the end of this week. Then we’ll organize the “Elite Eight” round and let you all know who’s made it.
If you want to see which ships have won and to participate in the next rounds, make sure to have left your email in that last question after choosing your favorite ships. We’ll also post the results to our Ship Mate Facebook Page once those are ready, so make sure you’re following us there!
